  • Choose one situation and prepare a monologue to deliver next class:
  1. Brenda talks about her experince at the Latin Club.
  2. Santiago describes some inconveniences he had at the hotel.
  3. Laura explains why London is a romantic place.
  4. Marco tells about how to get the tickets to go up the London Eye.
  5. Chris describes an anecdote in which he and his friends had fun at a London pub.
  6. Santi explains the problems he had when taking the tickets to go to Scotland.

ENGLISH SCONES recipe:

Ingredients:
2 cups of flour
4 teaspoons of baking soda
1 teaspoon of salt
1/2 a cup of margarine
3/4 cup of 7-UP soda
a bit of butter

Procedure:
1. Place the flour, the baking powder and the salt in a bowl.
2. Add the melted margarine
3. Pour the 7-up and mix.
4. Knead the dough until soft.
5. Roll the dough 1cm thick with a rolling pin
6. Cut out the biscuits and place them on a baking tray.
7. Brush the top with butter.
8. Bake for 12 minutes.
